North Villiage Arts District loses it's Muse

The Muse Café and Gallery at 110 Orr St. announced on a Sept. 7 Facebook post it would close its doors.
The coffee shop, which opened in February, used to be Sven’s, Mark and Lotta Timberlake’s Swedish coffee joint. Richmond and Amanda Wheeler took over the business, renamed it and changed the menu while keeping the art gallery and café theme.
The Muse was one of many shops that have opened in the North Village Arts District in the past year. Richmond Wheeler said he still thinks the area is a great place. “We had very great customers,” he said. “It’s a great community.”
